Eventually the manufacturer of the translator/converter can make the USB memory appear as hundreds of 720kB disks, but imagine going through them looking for a song. The capacity of the FDD is limited to 720kB (or eventually 1.44MB, and probably your keyboard can not physically address anything beyond that size, so you would get the USB memory, but its capacity will be limited to the size of the original FDD. A translator/converter can be engineered and manufactured if a large electonics company wishes to do it, however there are other problems to overcome. The interfaces of the FDD and USB are different, therefore your keyboard won't be able to communicate to the USB reader. Theoretically it is possible, but in practice there are a few problems:
