![]() Integrated Data Cache : 4x 32kB, Synchronous, Write-Thru, 8-way, 64 byte line size, 2 threads sharing Model : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 1.60GHz ![]() ![]() I have tried plugging the M-Box into the SIGG card, and the drive into the internal 4 pin, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I go thorugh this for about 10 minutes, and then it plays great, but then out of the blue, I'm back to the notices.System usage meter says that I am using about 10% of the CPU (RTAS) and disk usage is about 25%. I fired up PT and loaded a session with 48 tracks, hardly any plugs and it played back great a couple of times, then I got the dreaded notice that the cpu was busy and I should lower the buffer setting, so I lowered it from 1024 to 512, and instantly PT said I should raise the buffer setting. I am hooking the m-box up to the internal 4 pin firewire port, and using a SIIG firewire card in the express card port for the audio drive. Got everything installed correctly, followed the guidlines for setting up windows for pro tools. I have a new hp i7 laptop with Windows 7 64 bit, M-Box 2 Pro firewire and PT 8.03.
